Trip to Pairs, summer 2007 Olivere is invited along with 15 other salon owners to Pairs by Decleor. It's a wonderful trip mixing business with pleasure. The highlights was meeting Mme.Solonge Dessimoullie the creator of Decleor!

Staff trip to Paris, Oct 2007 Our recent trip to Paris was a "methods & standards" exercise with a lilttle social interaction, retail therapy and sightseeing! We dined at Kongs - made famous by Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw's meeting with Alexander's wife on her trip to Paris (for the Sex & the City fans!) The following day as arranged, we arrived at Maison de Beaute and met up with the Director Mme. Claire Groutt - who gave us a warm welcome, a guided tour and a little insight into the paris beauty business. We had pre-booked some treatments and following introductions to the different therapists, we retreated to the "Cabines" for the ultimate luxurious treatments. Aprés... we arrived at Galeries Lafayette to the Decleor counter - viewing the new launch of Excellance de L'age - Decleor's new anti-ageing range for 50+ We squeezed in a little retail therapy, viewed some famous Parisian sights, hit the duty free and jumped on our flight back to Ireland, bring a little Oh lá lá to Dungarvan.
Trip to Pairs, Spring 2008 Decleor invited some of its key clients from Ireland on a trip to Paris, to view product development at the company's skincare french headquaters and research laboratories, plus a little fun too! Guests visited La Mansion de Beaute Coita on famous Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoce. Met with Mme Claire Groult, Director of Maison de Beaute whom I met previously last October on our own salon trip. Toured the Maison and observed standards, details of display and technique. Lunched at restaurant Harold and got to know some of the other salon owners, Gwen O'Donoghue from Fresh Images, Churchtown, Dublin, Margaret Bohene and Ellie from Beauty Within, Castlemartyr Co. Cork plus eight other owners/managers countrywide. At head office of Decleor, had a presentation by Kim, European trainer and a questions and answers with Decleor creator Mme. Solenge Dessimoullie. As always, Solenge's enthusiasm for Decleor was very infectious. Had a wonderful night at Moulin Rouge. Visited the Decleor factory and our guide was Managing Director Stephane Lauzel. 80 people work throughout the factory with 1,000 raw materials, and 150 formations. It was a very interesting tour, seeing the creation of a product right up to the packaging, to see all the detail that goes into production from raw materials to marketing. Lunched at Restaurant Boulogne - situated on a lake with only boat access, a must for anyone visiting paris. Retail therapy - shopped for a few hours in Printemp, Galleries La Fayette etc - ....when in paris!! On the final night, dined at Bateaux Parisiers - dinner and a view along some of Paris famous sights. Finishing off with a few drinks at the crazy Buddha Bar. Group picture of all participants on the trip to paris in Irish beauty Magazine June 2008 issue.
